The Virtual Genesis Invitational is a program for prospective cadets and their parents or guardians. Our focus during Genesis is on the needs and interests of minority families and those who are the first in their family to attend college. Because space in this program is limited, you are guaranteed considerable contact with cadets, faculty, staff and graduates. Please register promptly after verifying that you meet the following qualifying factors for Genesis: - Are a minority student or first in your family to attend college - Are a high school junior, senior, or graduate - Have a GPA of at least 3.0 - Are physically fit and in good health The program will occur in two sessions; the first session will run from 1:00-3:00pm ET and the second session from 7:00-8:00pm ET. The first session will provide prospective applicants an in-depth Academy overview, with specific topics covered to include academics, military instruction, athletics, cadet life, and CG careers. The program will end with an Office of Diversity and Inclusion brief. The second session will consist of two separate events, a virtual Q&A panel with a cadet for prospective students and a Q&A panel with a member of Admissions for parents. |
