2023 Academy Experience Program (AEP) for Direct Appointees #4

Description: ***OPEN ONLY TO STUDENTS WITH FULL OR CONDITIONAL DIRECT APPOINTMENTS***

Join future members of your Coast Guard Academy class during the Academy Experience Program. Schedule this day and half orientation to help prepare you for Academy life as a Cadet and future leader in the U.S. Coast Guard.

This overnight program provides you the opportunity to join other Appointees as you shadow a cadet and explore the many opportunities available at the Academy and within the Coast Guard. Attend classes and a team practice, eat in the cadet wardroom, and learn what cadet life is like first-hand. Appointees will have the opportunity to learn more about their major of interest, visit our waterfront, and hear directly form Coast Guard Officers.

Programming and information for parents will also be provided throughout the day including, but not limited to, informational presentations, lunch with Admission Staff, and a Cadet-led campus tour. Parent participation is encouraged. Parents/guardians will need to make their own overnight arrangements.
