Admissions Brief w/ Campus Tour

Description: The U.S. Coast Guard Academy''s (USCGA) Admissions Briefing and Campus Tour program is your first introduction to the USCGA. The program begins with a 45-60 minute information briefing given by an Admission Officer who will cover the Academy, the Coast Guard, and the Admissions process (plus questions/answers), followed by a 45-minute Cadet-led tour of the campus. This program is intended for any and all students interested in learning more about the opportunities at the Academy and in the Coast Guard.

Please note that each student is only authorized to bring a maximum of TWO guests.

Attire:
Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

COVID-19 Requirements:
The Coast Guard Academy’s COVID-19 policy is updated regularly based on local community transmission levels and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. Currently, based on local conditions and Academy policy, all visitors to CGA will be REQUIRED to present:

1. Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.
OR
2. Proof of a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the visit or a negative Antigen test within 24 hours of the visit.

In order for a COVID-19 vaccination card to be considered valid, individuals must be fully vaccinated. Per the CDC, you are considered to be fully vaccinated two weeks after the final dose of vaccine is administered. If COVID verification is conducted for an event, all guests will receive a wristband to indicate that they have been screened. Any students or guests not meeting these requirements will not be able to participate in the event.
