Coast Guard Academy Admissions Information Session

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy (CGA) Admissions Office is pleased to offer a unique information session to students of the Greater Hartford and Springfield Metro Areas interested in learning more about the opportunities available at the Academy. Multiple staff members, including the Director of Admissions, CAPT Mike Fredie, will be on hand to provide valuable information and answer any questions families may have. Participants will depart with an understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges of a service academy education, knowledge of the Admissions process, and a better idea of whether the CGA is a good college fit. Coming from Hartford Take 91 North exit 38/Poquonock Ave at the bottom of the exit take a right, go under the overpass and stay in the right lane and follow the signs to Day Hill Rd. Take first left after the traffic light onto corporate drive, the hotel is located on the left hand side. Coming from Springfield Take 91 south exit 38B/Day Hill Rd take first left after the traffic light onto corporate drive, our Windsor hotel is located on the left hand side. Coming from the West Take 84 East to exit 51 Hartford to 91 North exit 38/Poquonock Ave at the bottom of the exit take a right, go under the overpass and stay in the right lane and follow the signs to Day Hill Rd.
